Our Corona Virus Safety Protocol
In addition to what we already do for infection control, i.e. face masks, face shields, safety glasses, room disinfection, and sterilization of instruments, we are taking additional health and safety precautions to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
ENHANCED HYGIENE MEASURES

• A Non-Contact Body Temperature Scanner and automatic Hand Sanitizer Dispenser Kiosk is available upon entry.
• Disposable gloves and masks are available for patients.
• Mouthwash effective at reducing viral loads, including COVID-19

AEROSOL REDUCTION AND AIR PURIFICATION MEASURES

• We use an Intraoral Dental Aerosol Reduction System during aerosol producing procedures.
• We set up extra Air Purifiers with PlasmaWave Technology and True HEPA Filtration in the operatory and reception area
• We have extra fans to keep a constant airflow.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

• To encourage “social distancing,” appointments are scheduled such that patients are seen after the prior appointment has already left, and the extra time is used to implement enhanced office cleaning protocols.

ENHANCED OFFICE CLEANING

• We have instituted enhanced cleaning protocols, which ensure that in between every patient's visit, our team cleans high-touch point areas around the reception area, including: counter tops, armchairs, doorknobs, writing instruments, clipboards, bathroom key and point of sale devices.
• After each patient, we use a fogger to fumigate the air around the operatories and reception area.

GUIDANCE FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF

• Any person who feels ill is excused from work and should not come to the office.
• We urge all patients to stay at home and seek medical assistance if they are not feeling well.
